Perfect location near the train station S1/U3 easy to anywhere you wish to go and many buses stopo ust there. We has a lovely large room with a desk and many large windows that tip open for fresh air. Very quiet in the room despite busy neighborhood. Plenty of space in the closets and a large well -lit bathroom. AC worked great. Breakfast was a huge buffet with something for everyone. When you are busy and jet-lagged this is a big plus. My colleagues staying in the nearby Ibis had many complaints about small rooms and nonworking AC, and train noise, and some of them moved over to the Intercity mid-week.

The hotel its actually very nice. Next to train and bus stations and close to supermarkets and shops. We used the S and U trains to move around and the hotel is 16 minutes away from the airport and 20 to 25 minutes away from the city center. The bed was very confortable and the stuff were very pleasant and helpful. They let us check in earlier (before 3 p.m.) and they even borrow us an umbrella and slippers, when we asked them to do.

The hotel is in the far northwest section of Hamburg. The location was perfect for my needs, and also near public transportation. The room was very comfy, although there was some muffled noises at night from the street below. I met my friend in the lobby bar where the (adorable) bartender was very attentive to our needs.
